Ritualist goes /boo when using Skills
Since yesterday whenever my female ritualist uses any non-shout skill or attack, she does the /boo animation instead of the regular skill animation. I've tested it on both PvP and PvE chars, and it only occurs on the female Ritualist (PvE and PvP). It also happens in Observe mode.
For instance, when she uses Bloodsong she will do the /boo animation. When she attacks she uses the /boo animation yet still causes damage. When she uses Chants she has the wing animations, but still does the /boo animation too. If the skill has an activation time shorter than the /boo emote, when I move the character will slide while doing the emote and continue on. I'm not sure why this is happening, and the only thing I can think of is during the Dragon Festival my GW froze and so I End Process-ed it. When I restarted the application it said "Repairing Data Archive" and I had to wait for several minutes as the bar filled up. Not sure if this occurred before that though as I don't use my Ritualist much. Does anyone else have this happening to them? Would I need to reinstall GW completely to stop this? Thanks. Edit: Melee Wanding Spells Chants (No i don't actually use AoF, I was just testing if it affected Chants too) Last edited by Khazad Guard; Jul 08, 2009 at 04:08 AM // 04:08.. |

It was a corrupted Data Archive which should have been fixed if you downloaded a new one when you restarted GW.

Just tested my female rit and it is not doing it. The only thing I can tell you is that if the Repare Data Archive didn't fix it, run the -repair command overnight while you sleep to reinstall/scan/repair everything within the GW.DAT file. If that dosen't work then try -image.
Both commands take a very long time. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Command_line_arguments |
